Uncompromised Aesthetics
How V12 Vantage looks and how it performs are indelibly linked. The 40mm wider body houses a wide track chassis for supreme cornering performance and stability. The powerful rear diffuser increases grip and reduces drag. Extensive use of carbon fibre finishes, assertive rear wing and twinned central exhausts complete the picture and make sure that its appearance is as memorable as its ability.

No ambiguity, no room for misinterpretation. The grille, enlarged by 25 per cent, complemented by the muscular new design for the front bumper and the full width front splitter leave no room for doubt: you are in the presence of greatness.

The recalibrated eight speed ZF automatic transmission on V12 Vantage offers further refinement and an even faster, more dynamic shift quality. It directs power to the rear wheels through a mechanical locking differential not seen on any other Vantage. The clever thing is, it never stops learning about how and where you drive it, striving to ensure it’s always in the most responsive gear. That’s a real connection.

Braking Force
Slowing a sports car with the potency of V12 Vantage is entrusted to Carbon Ceramic Brakes, for stopping power that’s matched to the V12’s performance, those at the front measuring 410mm across and clamped by six piston calipers. These brakes ensure optimal retardation even in extended and extreme use, but also save a crucial 23kg of unsprung mass compared to a conventional iron brake arrangement.
Prodigious Power, Thunderous Roar
With an output of 700PS, the 5.2L twin turbo V12 engine that lurks under the scalloped bonnet of the V12 Vantage is almost 100PS more powerful than the next most potent engine ever fitted to our two-seat sports car. Let that sink in. Backed by 753 Nm of torque and with a deafening roar in its throat, this Aston Martin may be the last of its breed but it’s not going quietly.
Infinite Detail
Even in the luggage area, V12 Vantage proves its sporting credentials. The parcel shelf has been replaced by a clear view of the strut brace that spans the rear suspension towers, stiffening the structure and enhancing the drive.

Aerodynamically Honed
In the pursuit of thrilling performance, V12 Vantage has been aerodynamically optimised from end to end, teasing, forcing and manipulating the airflow to ensure optimum cooling for the engine, transmission and brakes, as well as generating significant downforce. The full width front splitter and extended sills channel air under the body, while the reshaped diffuser and rear wing contribute to producing 204kg of downforce at 200 mph, enhancing grip and stability at speed.
Exploiting Immense Power
Everything has been fine-tuned so V12 Vantage not only handles but actively maximises its thrilling potential. The track of the car has been widened front and rear to provide a broader footprint. All relevant suspension settings have been completely revised to be as capable and rewarding around corners as in a straight line, while Michelin Pilot 4S tyres on new 21 inch wheels provide all the grip you need on the road or on the track.
